Webley “WG” Army Model 1896 Revolver 455 Webley – SN: 20286 (C&R)

Offered here is a Webley “WG” Army Model 1896 revolver chambered in 455 Webley with a 6-inch barrel. Serial number “20286” is marked on the right side of the frame. The top of the barrel is marked “P WEBLEY & CO LONDON & BIRMINGHAM”. 92% of what appears to be the original bright blue finish remains; perhaps this is a factory re-blue. The bore is shiny and clean with nice deep rifling and no visible corrosion. The action is in excellent condition, with a very tight lockup. The original two piece black checkered hard rubber round-butt grips are also quite nice, but with a small repair on the lower portion of the right grip.
