J. Kowar Flobert Zimmerschützen Type 4mm Cap & Ball Target Pistol (Antique)

Offered here is a well crafted and unique J. Kowar of Amberg Flobert Zimmerschützen target pistol. It does not have a serial number marked, but the maker’s name is on the top of the barrel. It is chambered for 4mm cap and ball, and it has an external barrel length of 10 inches and an internal barrel length of approximately 5 inches. The finish is 80% blued on the barrel with some pitting, and the rest of the metal parts have a case colored finish with intricate engraving. The bore is in excellent condition, with very minimal wear or corrosion, and the action is similarly excellent. The one piece European walnut grip is relief carved and is fantastic. The pistol features double set triggers and target sights.
