Offered here is a Cogswell & Harrison London retailed Tranter 5 shot short barrel revolver, chambered in 450 Adams (Webley/Eley) with a 2.5-inch barrel. Serial number “58320” is displayed on the left side frame forward of the cylinder, accompanied by “TRANTER PATENT” and British proofs on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The right side barrel boasts the Cogswell & Harrison retailer address mark. This exquisite revolver is presented in 95% original bright nickel finish. The bore is in very good condition, with some discoloration, yet maintaining strong rifling. The action is in very good working condition, functioning well in both single and double action modes. The one-piece checkered walnut grip is in great shape.
