Webley 455 Mark I Self-loading Pistol – SN: 1287 (C&R)

Offered here is a Webley Mark I self-loading pistol chambered in 455 Webley Automatic with a 5 inch barrel. Serial number “1287” is marked on the underside of the frame. The left side slide is marked “WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD / PISTOL SELF-LOADING 455 MARK I / 1913”. An early Royal Navy issue, this example has rack number “71” marked on the top of the slide. 80% original military blue finish remains, and the bore and action are both quite good. Two peice black checkered hard rubber factory grips are both good, but with a small crack in the left panel, and with a repair to the right panel.
