S&W No.3 Commercial 3rd Model Russian .44 Cal Revolver – SN: 39024 (Antique)

Offered here is a Smith & Wesson No.3 Commercial 3rd Model Russian revolver chambered in 44 Russian with a 6.5-inch barrel. Serial number “39024” is marked on the butt, and the top latch is marked “33”. The serial on the cylinder face is illegible. The top of the barrel is marked with the S&W patent and address line. 90% of the original bright nickel finish remains. The bore is very good with some corrosion, a dull finish, but still showing nice rifling. All action mechanisms are in excellent working condition. Two-piece smooth ivory factory grips are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and a nice aged color.
