Colt Richards Mason Conversion of 1861 Navy in .38 RF – SN: 949 (Antique)

Offered here is a Colt Richards Mason Conversion of the 1861 Navy, chambered in 38 Rimfire with a 7.5 inch barrel. Serial number “949” is marked on the butt, trigger guard, and frame forward of the trigger guard, with all numbers matching. Colt single line patent and address is marked on top of the barrel. 80% of the original bright nickel finish remains, complete with the full cylinder scene intact and fire blue still present on the Rimfire conversion hammer. The bore of this revolver is very good despite some corrosion, with rifling still sharp. The action is in very good working condition. The grip is a one-piece smooth walnut factory original, in very good condition, with about 70% varnish present. Complete with a brown leather holster.
