Webley WG Target 256-300 Morris Tube Conversion Revolver–SN:15673 (C&R)

Offered here is a Webley “WG” Target Model revolver in 256-300 Morris Tube with a 6 ⅜-inch barrel. Serial number “15673” is marked on the right side frame. The left side of the top strap is marked ‘“WG” TARGET MODEL’, and the left barrel frame is marked “450 / 455”. The retailer mark on the top of the barrel is “Wm. POWELL & SON CARRS LANE BIRMINGHAM”, and the butt is stamped “A.G. PARKER BIRMINGHAM”, who modified the gun by shortening the barrel to 6⅜ inches and re-pinning the front site accordingly. 92% of the original deep bright blue remains.The bore is quite good, with a nice shine, clear rifling, and little corrosion. All action mechanisms are in excellent working condition. Two piece checkered walnut factory grips are very nice, with no chips or cracks.
