We focus on getting you the most money possible and providing a top-tier service experience. We make things easy for you – we handle the selling, the advertising, and all legal matters. Your only required job is to contact us to arrange pickup, drop-off, or shipment of your items, then sit back and wait for your money. But, if you’re an expert collector who’s tired of carrying guns to gun shows, we’re happy to work with your input, too!

Our Tailored Process
Contact and Appraisal: It all starts when you call us. We’ll arrange a pickup or you can drop your items off at our location. We’ll then estimate their value based on recent sales of similar items. Then you decide if you want to sell your items at a fixed price, put them up for auction, or let us decide.
Research, Description & Photography: Our team dives in next. We’ll dig into each gun’s history, pinpointing and describing all details. Then, we’ll take high-quality photos of your items to show them off.
Listing Your Items: Your guns are ready to sell after they are properly described and photographed. We’ll post them either for a quick auction or list them at a set price on our website and other selling channels, depending on your preference. We don’t have any waiting period, so we can act fast or hold out for the best price. Each auction generally lasts 14 days and can be seen by a massive audience online, including our regular J. Davis and Sons buyers, and are the fastest way to turn your collection into cash. But, we’re happy to hold out for the special buyer who values your collection as much as you do with fixed price sales!
Payday: After your auctions close, or your items sell, we send you a check. Depending on what works best for you, we’ll get you your money and provide all necessary paperwork.
